  • Select the most frequently used profile. Click on the ‘Quick Setup’ tab from the ‘Settings’ option. 
  • On Selecting the Canon IJ Setup Printing Profile, the additional features, paper size value, media type are adjusted to the original values. 
  • Set the printing quality to high, standard, or draft according to your requirement. 
  • You must be able to complete the setup process by following the guidelines being displayed on the screen. 
  • Click on ‘Ok’ and save the settings. 
  • Open the documents you want the printer and click on the ‘File’ tab. 
  • Choose the ‘Print’ option for printing the documents. 

Canon IJ Setup on MAC

  • Visit the canon.com/ijsetup website and enter your printer model number to find the drivers of your printer. 
  • Select the operating system and your system version if it is not selected automatically. 
  •  Click on the ‘Drivers’ tab and choose the ‘Driver’ file.  Click the ‘Download’ button for the downloading and installation of a printer on your MAC device.  Do not forget to download the MP drivers which include the Canon IJ Utility setup. 
  • Once the downloading process is completed, go to the location where the file is saved. Click on the.PKG file to begin the Run process. 
  • Once the installation process is complete, choose the Application option from the Finder’s Go menu. 
  • Double click on the ‘Canon Utilities’ folder and use the IJ Scan utility and IJ Printer utility.
